Since 2008, Springsteen became aware of them, the fame of the Gaslight Anthem has never stopped growing, leading them to play all over the world to share the stage with Springsteen the same (see video below). There was no better time then to make a record of American Slang overwhelming, given by the writer of the band's best work. The first play does not give the freshness of the previous The '59 Sound, which came out after a hard (Sink or Swim) invoice much more punk rock, but the quality of the songs and lyrics, individuals positive characteristic of their quotations, it is clearly superior and shows a greater emphasis on writing and arrangements. The attack of the first piece, the single American Slang, sweeps away any doubts you might have about it, and the apparent ease with which the disc continues, offering gems like "The Diamond Church Street Choir and Boxer, the spell fails, that of music, combine decades of generations under the same dreams. Define the disc of the vest, as it has the habit of doing in these cases, it would be unfair and unjust, but if they first approached the punk rock of the Clash and after Springsteen, now approaches them only to themselves.
